Priority areas your organisation is working on

Our organization works on research and investigation of kleptocracies in the Eurasian/Central Asian countries, former Soviet republics in Central Asia and their connection to human rights abuses.

Important achievements for your organisation over the past 2 years

Specific description of the CSO’s work in anti-corruption

We prepare policy briefs on corruption, kleptocracy and organized crime in the region, analyse legislation on this topic, conduct advocacy campaigns, publish reports on our findings, apply international legal mechanisms against perpetrators of corruption and human rights abuses.

Anti-corruption activities CSO was involved in over the past 2 years

We have participated in the campaign against corruption and kleptocracy using the west, namely UK to store and spend their ill-gotten wealth. https://hansard.parliament.uk/Commons/2022-02-03/debates/41000B02-86AB-499E-8547-0F5AA84611B0/KazakhstanAnti-CorruptionSanctions. We participated in a UK government-funded project that examined the enablers of corruption in the Global North with a specific focus on UK real estate.
