UNODC Call for Applications for NGOs in Southern Africa: Regional Meeting on Fast-tracking the Implementation of UNCAC in Southern Africa

25 July 2019 – UNODC invites civil society organisations (CSOs) to apply to participate in the Regional Conference Fast-tracking the Implementation of UNCAC in Southern Africa. The regional conference will take place from 14 to 18 October 2019 in Livingstone, Zambia and will bring together civil society, governmental counterparts and technical experts. The overall objective is to build and foster partnerships and create a regional platform in Southern Africa to fast-track the implementation of the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC).

The conference will involve the following countries of Southern Africa: Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe. CSOs must be from these countries to be eligible. Please also note that UNODC strongly encourages female participation, therefore gender balance will be taken into consideration for applicants with the same credentials.  Your travel and accommodation will be covered by UNODC.
