General description of the CSO work in the anti-corruption area

In the period of 2014-2015, CReDO established itself as an influential organization in terms of lobbying and advocating for anticorruption and justice policies and reforms. CReDO has held the chairmanship of the Moldova Anticorruption Alliance (ACA) since 2014, with a consecutive mandate until 2016. The ACA is a network of 22 organizations active in preventing and combating corruption. The Alliance takes public positions on corruption cases and asks the National Integrity Commission (NIC), the National Anticorruption Center (NAC) and other law enforcement bodies to look into the cases. In 2015 this platform of NGOs had over 300 media appearances, 19 public calls addressed to public authorities, 30 petitions/complaints, at least 22 policy proposals and legal expertise, as well as a range of press conferences, studies, etc. The Alliance was one of the most active promoters of the so-called anti-corruption public integrity package which has finally been approved.
