General description of your work in the prevention of and the fight against corruption

The Migrant Workers Association Lesotho works on prevention of corruption through community sensitisation. Furthermore, they engage in policy advocacy, monitoring public services and denouncing corruption, mainly in migration-related issues.

Describe your organisation’s work linked with the UN Convention against Corruption

The organisation sees its role in denouncing corrupt acts and doing community sensitisation campaigns to encourage people to report officials who engage in corrupt practices in public services. The Migrant Workers Association Lesotho also monitors public funds of government procurement at the community level.
