Organisation Experience

I WATCH has joined the coalition in 2012. Even before joining the coalition, I WATCH has supported its lobbying endeavours in both COSPs in Marrakech and Panama. I WATCH has been involved with the self-assessment mechanism in Tunisia. I WATCH was one of the 5 organisation to work with the Government on the Self-Assessment Report. In addition, I WATCH has published a shadow report that has civil society insight on the UNCAC review mechanism.

Organisation Profile

I WATCH is a Tunisian youth-led watchdog organisation aiming at enhancing transparency and fighting corruption. Founded in 2011, I WATCH has been advocating for more transparency and openness in the work of the government. In addition, I WATCH has been keen on engaging citizens in the fight against corruption. I WATCH has launched a number of online initiatives in order to hold decision-makers accountable.

Candidate Profile

Achref Aouadi is the founder of I WATCH, he represented I WATCH in the work with the government and represented I WATCH in both COSPs 2011 and 2013. He also attended the UNODC-TI training for African CSO in South Africa 2012.
