Mission and vision

“Syri i Vizionit” mission is “to support the community through information, advocacy, awareness and capacity building of individuals, informal groups, organizations, institutions, networks and donors”. Its vision is to be “An organization that accomplishes local actions based on best practices”.

General description of the CSO work in the anti-corruption area

Since its establishment, the non-governmental organisation Syri i Vizionit has implemented various projects related to the improvement of governance, the increase of citizens’ participation in decision-making and monitoring of institutions, the increase of institutions’ transparency toward citizens, the monitoring of institutions for fulfilment of EU requests for good governance, and the further European integration of Kosovo. Over the last four years it has also been part of SELDI Network. It has taken part in monitoring corruption in Kosovo. It has also monitored state capture in the energy sector and the corruption-hidden economy nexus.

Specific description of the CSO work in relation to the UNCAC

As part of SELDI Network, Syri i Vizionit together with other SELDI member organisations in Kosovo disseminated the findings that came out of the Kosovo Corruption Assessment Report. They aim at the improvement of the national anti-corruption measures.
