Gender, Inclusion, & Corruption Working Group relaunches questionnaires on sexual corruption and gender and corruption datasets

26 November 2024 –

CoSP resolution 10/10 urges States to address sexual corruption and collect disaggregated data regarding the impact of corruption on women and girls.

In this context, the UNCAC Coalition Working Group on Gender, Inclusion & Corruption is seeking information regarding the existence of datasets that measure the impact of corruption on gender and the implementation of legislative provisions addressing sexual corruption. The Working Group previously circulated an earlier version of these questionnaires, and based on the responses and feedback received, the questions and the definition of sexual corruption have been updated.

The two published questionnaires will contribute to assessing States’ implementation of the resolution:

We invite civil society, academics, and other experts to complete these questionnaires.

How can you help?

  2.       Share the questionnaires on social media using the following template message
  3.       Share the questionanires with your network/relevant experts via email using the following template message

The information received will be used to build two public databases, one on gender and corruption datasets and the other one on sexual corruption legislation to advance discussions, inform national and global advocacy efforts, and support evidence-based advocacy for the scaling of good practices.
