The UNCAC Coalition hosted a briefing for upwards of 75 civil society representatives to discuss ongoing preparations for the 9th session of the UNCAC Conference of States Parties (CoSP9) scheduled in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, between 12-17 December, 2021.
The briefing discussed: modalities for civil society participation and contributions (including written submissions, oral statements, side events, networking and engagement, impacting resolutions, on-site activities and actions), the timeline and process of registration, information on the visa application to Egypt, the agenda of the 9th UNCAC CoSP and main activities from a civil society perspective
Before the Conference officially launches, an in-depth preparatory meeting for civil society will be held on Sunday 12 December (in person). We will discuss civil society advocacy opportunities and coordinate efforts.
