General description of the CSO work in the anti-corruption area
UDN reviews anti-corruption legislation in Uganda and advances recommendations for amendment. This is done in partnership and consultation with key stakeholders who include like-minded CSOs, Government Ministries and Development Partners.
UDN conducts awareness-raising on the dangers of corruption, empowers citizens and institutions to effectively fight corruption at local and national levels.
UDN strategies include working with the youth and institutions of learning to organize debates on corruption, public campaigns through partnerships with media houses against misuse of public assets, partnerships with public offices to promote good governance.
Beneficiaries are taxpayers who would, in the absence of corruption, enjoy quality services.
