Over 70 representatives of civil society organisations met in Doha during the Third Conference of States Parties last November. PArticipants delivered a Coalition Statement calling for more transparency, accountability and participation of civil society signed on by 356 organizations from 95 countries.

In addition, they distributed 4 issues of the Monitor, the civil society newsletter, and shared daily experiences in the Coalition’s blog and Twitter. Throughout the Conference civil society organized several actions to convey these messages to the delegates as well, as illustrated in the short video.

The Conference of States Parties adopted finally a mechanism to monitor progress in implementation of the UN Convention against Corruption.
