UNCAC Coalition hosts second civil society briefing on CoSP 9 preparations & agenda

2 December 2021 –

The UNCAC Coalition hosted a briefing for upwards of 50 civil society representatives to discuss ongoing preparations for the 9th session of the UNCAC Conference of States Parties (CoSP9) scheduled in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, between 12-17 December, 2021.

The briefing discussed: the status of civil society participation, organizational matters and Covid-19 prevention requirements around the Conference, as well information about the official agenda and CoSP 9 side events.

Before the Conference officially launches, an in-depth preparatory meeting for civil society will be held on Sunday 12 December (in person), where we will discuss civil society advocacy opportunities and coordinate efforts.
