Transparency Pledge

The Pledge is a voluntary commitment to meet minimum standards of transparency and civil society participation in the UNCAC Implementation Review Mechanism.

We call on States Parties to sign our Transparency Pledge for the second UNCAC review cycle.

To date, 46 States Parties have signed the Transparency Pledge, reaffirming the importance of transparency and public consultation in addressing corruption. Their commitment signals a strong belief that civil society can play a crucial role in preventing and combatting corruption in their country, contributing to the successful implementation of UNCAC provisions.

We congratulate the 46 countries that have signed the Transparency Pledge so far. To ensure this commitment is implemented in practice, we regularly track compliance with the Transparency Pledge’s principles, as shown in the map below.

Follow-up briefing on the review for civil society yes, a short presentation on UNCAC review findings was held during the workshop aimed at developing a roadmap for implementing the National Anti-Corruption Program (adopted in June 2023), with over 30 CSOs present. The reports findings were also discussed with NGOs during a short session of a training for NGO representatives on 25 June 2025.
