Mission
Vouliwatch is a non-profit organisation dedicated to strengthening transparency, accountability, and democratic participation in Greece. Its mission is to promote open and responsible governance by monitoring parliamentary activity, the rule of law, improving access to public information, and empowering citizens to engage meaningfully in democratic processes.
Founded in 2014, Vouliwatch operates as a parliamentary monitoring organisation and a democracy watchdog.
A core objective of Vouliwatch is to advance institutional transparency and integrity by promoting freedom of information, advocating for stronger accountability mechanisms, and supporting evidence-based public debate. The organisation also works to expose systemic weaknesses in governance, including issues related to corruption, lobbying transparency, and the rule of law.
By combining investigative work, policy analysis, strategic litigation, and civic engagement initiatives, Vouliwatch seeks to reinforce democratic oversight and enable citizens, journalists, and civil society to hold public authorities accountable.
