Mission
Syri i Vizionit(SiV) is a local non-governmental organization officially registered in Kosovo in September 2001, operating since 1999 under the motto “Think Globally, Act Locally.”
Our mission is to support the community through information, advocacy, awareness, and capacity building of individuals, informal groups, organizations, institutions, networks, and donors. Our vision is to be an organization that accomplishes local actions based on best practices.
SiV primarily aims to promote local democracy and citizens’ participation, with a special emphasis on good governance, accountability, transparency, and civic engagement in decision-making processes. Our core objectives include: developing and disseminating reliable information to citizens; raising public awareness on urgent societal issues; and equipping citizens with advocacy, lobbying, and networking skills to exercise their rights and hold institutions accountable.
