Mission
Integrity Watch works with local communities, government officials, judicial actors, public representatives, and private sector actors to fight against corruption and empower citizens to act with integrity and demand transparency from their government. Integrity Watch trains and mentors members of local communities to monitor infrastructure projects, education, healthcare services, and trial proceedings. It conducts policy-relevant research to better inform decision-makers and Afghan citizens on transparency and integrity issues in government. Integrity Watch works closely with civil society organizations to build their organizational capacity to work on corruption-related issues and strengthen their internal organizational practices. Supported by its research and staff expertise, Integrity Watch advocates with the government and the international community to adopt policies and practices that increase transparency, accountability, and integrity in Afghanistan.
