Mission
IDM was founded in 1999 by a group of Albanian scholars and experts with the aim of contributing towards strengthening civil society, analyzing and improving Albania’s integration processes, assisting reform, consolidating good governance and inclusive policy processes through expertise, innovative policy research, analysis and assessment-based policy options. IDM’s mission is to advance societal capacities, generate and provide knowledge, skills and expertise for inclusive policy making and evidence-based alternatives to bolster democracy and sustainable development.
