Mission
The Anti-Corruption Action Centre (AntAC) is a Ukrainian civil society organization, which was founded in 2011. It unites experts from legal, media and civic-political sectors fighting corruption as a root cause of the key state-building problems in Ukraine.
The mission of the organization is to ensure unavoidable liability for public officials committing corruption acts. There are three main principles of our work:
1) To make punishment of corruption unavoidable, including the imprisonment of corrupt officials and the confiscation of the proceeds of corruption;
2) To disincentivize corruption: corruption should be considered dangerous, shameful and unprofitable;
3) To follow the money and track suspicious cash flows.
AntAC’s strategic goal for 2016-2017 is to create conditions, under which it would be too risky and unprofitable for the authorities to engage in corruption.
