Mission
The Alliance for Accountability Advocates Zambia (AAAZ) exists to advance governance, transparency, and civic accountability by empowering civil society and youth-led organizations to drive systemic reform. Our mandate is to build capacity, foster inclusive participation, and advocate for evidence-based policies that promote public health, social justice, and sustainable development.
AAAZ is a coalition of over 150 member organizations, uniting diverse voices to influence legislation, strengthen integrity, and hold duty bearers accountable. We specialize in institutional strengthening, technical proposal writing, and strategic advocacy, ensuring grassroots realities inform both national and international policy frameworks.
Our core objectives are to:
• Mobilize and equip civil society for effective governance and anti-corruption advocacy.
• Champion youth leadership in shaping Zambia’s development agenda.
• Advance public health reforms, including tobacco control and sexual and reproductive health rights.
• Promote unity, inclusivity, and civic responsibility across communities.
Through collaboration, transparency, and innovation, AAAZ strives to build a Zambia where accountable leadership and empowered citizens drive sustainable change.
