25 June 2026 –
When we asked whether the Coalition added value to your anti-corruption work in 2025, 82% said yes, with highest support coming from members in Asia-Pacific and the Americas .
Three areas kept surfacing when asked what was valued most:
- Connection and solidarity: a global platform for finding peers and feeling part of something bigger, which matters more than ever as civic space shrinks.
- A seat at the UNCAC table: helping civil society leverage and participate in UNCAC fora, particularly in the Conference of States Parties, and Working Groups.
- Practical support: tools, guidance, evidence-based recommendations, and the new monthly funding-opportunities digest that landed in a brutal year for budgets.
“By speaking with a unified voice, the Coalition bolstered the credibility and weight of our recommendations among public decision-makers.” – Sub-Saharan Africa Affiliated Group
How do you perceive us?
Responses demonstrated the Coalition’s strength as a global convener and advocate: 91% said it amplified civil society voices worldwide, 87% felt it fostered solidarity.
“It is a two-way street where the Coalition provides diplomatic access to policymakers while members build a shared evidence base and provide actionable solutions.” – European Member
But we also recognized a gap: translating that international impact into national action. Only 65% felt that value reached the national level, dropping further in parts of Europe and Latin America. This will be one major area of focus moving forward.
Priorities in 2026
Across every region, the same priorities rose to the top: access to information, transparency, and protecting civic space, with all being under pressure from funding cuts and legal attacks such as SLAPPs. Whistleblower protection, asset recovery, political finance, and the human rights–anti-corruption nexus came up again and again, each region adding its own perspective, from climate-corruption in Asia-Pacific to gender and extractives in Sub-Saharan Africa.
What you want more of
Five clear asks for the year ahead emerged in your responses: Promoting more connection between members, building capacity with practical tools, expanding funding support, amplifying national work on the global stage, and having a greater regional focus.
There was also a deeper need for real partnership. Not information handed down from the top, but co-creating campaigns, shaping the agenda together, and building genuine feedback loops.
“Meaningful collaboration means moving beyond a top-down information flow toward a strategic, bi-directional partnership.” — Americas Member
How will we use these results?
The UNCAC still matters to 69% of you, and our proposed values — transparency, participation, rule of law, impact, inclusion — all drew nearly universal support.
These results are now shaping our new strategy, our day-to-day work, and our plans for the year ahead, making sure that the Coalition stays relevant, responsive, and valuable to your work.
We thank everyone for taking the time to fill out the survey. Your feedback is invaluable to making sure we stay on track and that we are able to give the community what they need.
