CoSP Special session
States Parties are expected to formally adopt the documents that will govern how every country’s anti-corruption commitments are reviewed for the next decade, at a special session of the Conference of the States Parties in Vienna on 6 November 2026. The first country reviews under the new phase will begin in 2027. What is adopted now – including how far civil society can take part in country reviews and how transparent the process will be – will shape the UNCAC’s effectiveness for years to come.
