The energy transition is an opportunity to rewrite the relationships that govern our resources: between people and planet, between companies and communities, and between nations.
We see a hopeful path, a path towards shared prosperity on a thriving planet. Local communities can and should steward our resources for the benefit of future generations. The relationships that govern resource extraction and energy generation must be reformed to centre people’s rights, dignity and the sustainability of the planet.
To meet this moment, we have chosen to review and renew our commitment to the world.
Our vision is one in which societies are governing their natural resources in just and equitable ways in harmony with the planet.
Our mission is to empower communities in their pursuit of equitable governance of natural resources and justice for all in the energy transition, within the natural limits of the planet.
