Mission
Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW) envisions a society where citizens are empowered to monitor the state and actively participate in decision-making, promoting democratic governance that is corruption-free, socially and economically just, and gender equitable. ICW’s mission is to empower citizens to advocate for political, legal, economic, and bureaucratic systems that uphold integrity, social justice, and gender equality, while strengthening public participation in policymaking and oversight.
To achieve this, ICW facilitates citizen awareness and organization around civic rights and public services, builds capacity for effective engagement in policy and oversight, and supports initiatives to uncover and report corruption for both legal and social accountability. The organization also promotes skills in corruption investigation, mobilizes public campaigns for legal, political, and bureaucratic reform, and fosters good governance and ethical standards across civil society and professional sectors. Through these efforts, ICW ensures that citizens become active agents in creating a transparent, accountable, and just society, connecting local action to broader national and global anti-corruption initiatives.
