Lewis is committed to advancing anti-corruption efforts, asset recovery and the prevention of illicit financial flows, while promoting transparency, accountability and good governance.
Before joining the Coalition, he worked with the Civil Forum for Asset Recovery (CiFAR), supporting project implementation across Sub-Saharan Africa and contributing to regional civil society engagement on asset recovery. His work focused on policy research, monitoring and advocacy on asset recovery, illicit financial flows and corruption. He produced policy briefs and reports, tracked policy implementation, and represented the organization at various anti-corruption fora. He also worked with national, regional and international partners to advance asset recovery standards. Previously, he worked with Transparency International Kenya on initiatives addressing corruption and illicit financial flows.
Lewis holds a BA in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Nairobi and is finalizing an MA in Project Management at the same institution.
