Mission
The mission of Transparency International – Moldova is promoting transparency, integrity and accountability as the main ways to prevent corruption and improve the quality of governance.
The main objectives of TI-Moldova are:
– Conducting periodical assessments on the impact of corruption on the social, economic and democratic development of the country via qualitative and empirical studies;
– Increasing the capacities of the government to improve their anti-corruption policies by providing trainings for public servants, expertise of legal framework, issuing policy papers, advocating for changes and monitoring their implementation;
– Strengthening the capacities of civil society and businesses to withstand corruption by providing free legal assistance, raising public awareness to diminishing the public tolerance towards corruption;
– Supporting the investigative journalism by providing consultancy and motivating equidistant, argued and ethical investigations.
