Mission and vision

Through research on economic and social issues, TESEV’s findings look beyond the short term; they are grounded in scientific research, developed for use by all segments of the population and are aimed at delivering solutions for intractable social problems, solutions needed both by public authorities and society at large with a vision to fully respect human rights and the rule of law and to promote participation, accountability, and transparency at every stage of public life.

General description of the CSO work in the anti-corruption area

TESEV has implemented projects on transparency of public spending, reconstruction of public scrutiny, impunity of public officials in cases of misconduct, public perceptions on corruption, and corruption in the fields of judiciary, law enforcement, economy, energy sector. In order to collect data TESEV undertakes monitoring activities, capacity building activities for NGOs, workshops, in-depth research, interviews, and public surveys. For dissemination of data and advocacy, panels, social media, research reports, press releases, meetings with policy makers are utilized. The main beneficiaries of the projects are NGOs, policy makers, and society in general. TESEV develops projects on critical social problems affecting overall welfare, sectors that are most prone to corruption, and issues central to accountability, transparency, and participation.
