"Monitor" is the daily publication produced by the UNCAC Coalition for distribution to the delegates to the Conference of States Parties.

With a less than ideal agreement on the table, the last Monitor´s headline says "Unlucky Friday 13 for Article 13". The main article is the Coalition statement to be delivered at the last plenary -without success. Hence the article. Other articles about a new NGO coalition on UNCAC in the Middle East, the final report of Parliamentarians against Corruption, and sing along lyrics to the tune of Harry Belafonte´s "Boat Banana Song" reminding governments that inclusion is in the mandate and that there is nothing wrong with publicly reporting.
Monitor 1 delivers a powerful message to the UNCAC Delegates: the world is watching, as more than 350 organisations and 100 faith leaders call for a transprent, inclusive and effective review mechanism.
